Manufactured from 6 mm mild steel plate and individually hot dip galvanized to 80+ microns, it serves as the primary earth electrode in conventional plate-earthing designs for substations, power plants, and heavy-industrial sites. Buried vertically at 2–3 metres depth with backfill compound, it provides an effective grounding electrode system where the design specification permits galvanized steel.
